That Picture

That one Picture that I had drawn that day

Is only between you and me

no one knows about it

no one has heard about it

that's the way I wanted it to be

I would've put so much more if I could

but time was running out

I tried putting all my feelings into that one picture

Eye of the StormThe sky fights in shades of gray turmoil
depicting ethereal beauty amongst sadness.
Each golden strike that brings the heavens alive
reminds me of you, for you were my silver lining
in a world that had long ago lost sense.

The rain lingers as it swishes,
pouring the troubles it has touched
into an ear lined with hollowed hopes.
Forgetful midnight sparkles glitter,
the homes of a city I am exiled within.
